Eulogy Kit

Help with the speech you can't bring yourself to write.

A personalised eulogy draft, generated from what you tell us about your loved one — their name, three traits, one specific story. The draft arrives as a PDF in about a minute. Read it through. Edit anything that does not sound like your voice.

7-day refund · delivered as a PDF

How it works

  1. Buy ($49).

You will receive an email with a link to a short form. The form is private and one-time-use.

  2. Fill in the form.

About ten or fifteen minutes. Choose a tone (warm, formal, light, or mixed) and a length (3, 5, or 7 minutes). Be specific — names, traits, a real story. The more specific the details, the less the draft will sound like a template.

  3. Read your draft.

Generated in about a minute and delivered as a PDF you can read aloud or edit. The link stays valid for 48 hours and works on any device.

This is a writer's-block helper, not a finished speech. Most people read it through and rewrite a passage or two in their own words.

A few passages from drafts we have generated

These are excerpts from real drafts produced by the same prompts the kit uses. Specific names have been kept out; the passages stand on their own.

"He is in every piece of burned toast from here on out. In the scrape of a butter knife over the sink. In whoever in this family one day takes the battery out of a smoke alarm and genuinely cannot see the problem."
Light tone — for a father
"He left one sentence, spoken at dusk over a cup of coffee, in a garage where every tool still has its place. Discipline is what you bring to the next thing. We know what he brought to every next thing in his life. That is enough to carry forward."
Formal tone — for a father
"She didn't know what she'd do without me. I find I have the same problem."
Mixed tone — for a sister

These are illustrative, not testimonials. Drafts are personalised to the details you provide, so yours will not read like any of these.

Questions

Is this written by AI?

Yes. We use Claude, an AI from Anthropic. It writes from the specific details you provide and cannot invent things about a person it never knew. A human-written eulogy from someone who knew them well will always be more personal — this is for the moment when you are sitting at a kitchen table at 2am and the page is still blank.

Can I edit it?

Yes. The PDF is yours. Many people use it as a starting point and rewrite passages in their own words. The draft is meant to break the silence of the empty page, not replace your voice.

What if I do not like it?

7-day no-questions refund. Reply to your order email and we will send the refund back to your card. See our refund policy.

How long does the form take?

Typically ten to fifteen minutes. The more specific you are about traits and the story you choose, the better the draft. A vague form gives you a vague draft. A specific anecdote — the green Ford Bronco, the way she always said "right then, love" — gives you something that sounds like the person you knew.

How private is what I share?

We do not share form contents with anyone. Generated drafts are stored briefly and accessible only via the unique download link in your email. We do not sell or use your form data for anything beyond generating your draft. Full details in our privacy policy.

Can I regenerate the draft?

Not in this version. If the first draft is wrong in a structural way, write to support@yourfuneralsongs.com and we will help. (We are considering a regenerate option for a future release.)

What format is the file?

A standard A4 PDF, formatted for printing or reading on a podium. About three pages depending on the length you choose.
